Fiat Mirafiori Plant
1939 - Operational
Overview
The vast Turin plant that succeeded Lingotto as the heart of Fiat, employing tens of thousands of workers at its postwar peak. Mirafiori built the cars that motorised Italy, from the 600 onward, and its strikes of the late 1960s shaped Italian labour politics. It still assembles cars today.
