Ford Piquette Avenue Plant
1904 - Museum
Overview
Fords first purpose built factory, a plain three storey Detroit brick plant where the Model T was designed and first assembled in 1908. Only about 12,000 were built here before production moved to Highland Park, but the car that put the world on wheels was born inside.
