Fiat Lingotto Factory
1923 - Redeveloped
Overview
A five storey concrete car factory with a famous rooftop test track, the largest in Europe when completed. Le Corbusier admired it as one of the most impressive sights of industry. Closed in 1982, Renzo Piano reinvented it as a hotel, mall, university, and concert venue.
