John Brown Clydebank Yard
1899 - Heritage site
Overview
The Clydebank yard of the greatest liners: Lusitania, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, and QE2 were launched here. The 1907 Titan cantilever crane, built to lift boiler engines, still stands over the site as a climbable monument to Clyde shipbuilding.
