Overview
A deep coal mine at Blaenavon in south Wales that produced coal for about a century before closing in 1980. It reopened as the National Coal Museum, where former miners take visitors 90 m underground in the cage. It forms part of the Blaenavon Industrial Landscape World Heritage Site.
