Overview
Built on Pyms Lane as a Rolls-Royce shadow factory to make Merlin aero engines for the Spitfire and Hurricane. After the war it turned to Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars, and since the Volkswagen takeover it has been the home of Bentley, mixing hand craft with modern assembly.
