Renault Billancourt Works
1898 - Demolished
Overview
Louis Renault built his first car in a garden shed on the family property, growing into the Ile Seguin works, Frances largest car factory for decades and a fortress of union power. Closed in 1992 and later demolished, the island is now a park and cultural district.
