Heinz North Side Works
1890 - Closed
Overview
Henry J Heinz grew from horseradish peddled from a garden into a global condiment empire headquartered on Pittsburgh North Side, its brick works and famous clock a landmark for a century. Production ended there in the early 2000s, but the company town spirit lives on in the Heinz complex downtown.
